There are also reports that asbestos removal will take place during the renovations because, as we know, once asbestos fibers are disturbed they become hazardous to human health. Palace parties will shine after new electrical work is completed. It’s a huge undertaking, fit for a Queen.
When to Remove Asbestos
In many cases, the safest thing to do with asbestos is to leave it alone. The danger lies in the inhalation of the fibers once they’re released into the air. Unless you’re planning home renovations that will disturb the asbestos, removal may not be required. You can bet that the renovations taking place at Buckingham Palace are grand enough in scale to warrant asbestos removal. After all, one does not relocate the Queen of England without good reason!
